  • SIMPLICITY OF COMMUNICATION IN A MARITAL RELATIONSHIP, PART 2.

As clearly stated yesterday, “Simplicity is a virtue and not a weakness.” When simplicity takes root in the communication of couples, it takes care of perpetual conflict and noise, and it makes feedback relevant as communication becomes noise where feedback is irrelevant (please review yesterday’s devotional).

If communication will be well understood, the tone used by the sender must show simplicity in the following ways:

• Language use

• Tone

Eye contact or facial expression

• Body language

Each of the above factors is very important if communication will not end up in noise but bring about relevant feedback. Each of these factors will be discussed in the coming days; please anticipate.
