In recent times, I have seen videos and life sceneries of ladies proposing to men for marital relationships. Gradually it is becoming a norm as our society is gradually settling into it, but in the real sense who should make the marital proposal?
A marital proposal simply means making your intention for a marital relationship known to your intending life partner. God presented love to Adam but neither God or Even made the proposal, the man, Adam did when he said, “Eve is the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh”.
Culturally and biblically the man is the head of the marital relationship, he sets pase for the marital relationship and he sets the stage for marital commitment to a large extent. Where a woman makes the marital proposal, she is set up for abuse or violence and she will require more energy to keep driving the relationship which could be too burdensome for her in the long run.
