Phlegmatic individuals are usually loved by most people because of their calm nature. They love people genuinely, and they love to be around people; though they are not outspoken, they have a sense of dry humor that makes them stick to their company.

However peaceful the phlegmatic spouses appear on the outside, they have a lot of internal conflict that makes them prone to emotions that could have a negative impact on them if not guided. Such emotions are fear, worry, and shyness, which otherwise make them indecisive, selfish, and shy away from responsibilities.

Children raised by melancholy parents are however going to be as intelligent and creative as their parents, but often times their esteem and self-confidence might have been battered by their parents, that they may become the shadow of themselves without care and God help.
