Another way through which communication can be simple and clear in a relationship is to deliberately make eye contact with your spouse. Making eye contact with your lover does not imply that you see him or her only; it tells them that he or she has your attention and shows your strong feelings of attraction for him or her. When you make eye contact with your marital partner, it decreases negative emotions, diffuses pressure, builds trust, and affirms love, irrespective of the difficulty of the message or information that is to be passed across to him or her.
