Yesterday’s session pointed out what emotion is, the fact that it informs us, and the fact that it can be maximized to make an informed decision. Emotion comes with living and cannot be eradicated. However, the journey to emotional management or regulation begins at a point where we are able to name the types of emotions we are feeling at any given time and deliberately choose our response and stick to it irrespective of the opposing actions from our spouse and our environment.
