Hearing God is not as difficult as many people presume. Interestingly, God is willing to speak to us more than we ever desire to hear him speak; the fact that he gave us ears and mouths established this amazing fact.
However, many fail to hear God when he speaks because they don’t know the language He speaks. God does not speak any of the major languages of the world—English, French, Spanish, Dutch, or the rest of them. The language he speaks is His word, but in a situation where your human spirit is not trained to understand the word of God, when God speaks, your human spirit will not be able to discern what He says.
More reasons it is important for you to get acquainted with the word of God so as to have your spirit sharpened so as to get your marital conviction right.
