In our society today, social vices have become a norm that the government and other stakeholders are trying to curb.
Social vices are bad behaviors that the law does not approve in a community. Peer or societal pressure often causes them, as individuals strive to gain recognition or acceptance from their peers or community at any cost
For example, social vices include alcoholism, drug abuse, smoking, and other harmful behaviors. In addition, they encompass rape and sexual assaults, pre-marital sex, indecent dressing, prostitution, cultism, examination malpractice, hooliganism, thuggery, gambling, abortion, and many others.
