Our session on Puberty and Sexuality Management was impactful.
The organizers separated the boys and girls because of the sensitivity of the subject matter.
Teachers sensitized the students on puberty signs, puberty myths, and how to manage their sexuality effectively. The facilitators emphasized that nothing external is responsible for their body growth; their hormones are responsible, hence they should shun puberty myths.
The facilitators further encouraged the students to uphold values that guide their decision-making, helping them reduce peer pressure in adulthood.
At the end of the session, the facilitators gave the students an opportunity to ask questions and addressed all of them.
The facilitators also gave the students free copies of Puberty and Sexuality Management.
