What are you saying to your child? What do you call him or her? What you consistently say to your child daily is a reflection of your perception of him or her, and if care is not taken, that child will not go beyond that because whatever you call him is what he will think of himself, and as a man thinks of himself, so is he.
Children are not only to be admired when they are babies; it is important to keep admiring our children as they grow older. In my line of work, I have seen many teenage girls fall under the pressure of premarital sex against their wishes because they are showered with a lot of compliments and admiration from their predators.
You need to keep complimenting your child and be their constant admirer so as to help them survive the heat of destiny’s hunters out there. Your child must live, and he or she needs your admiration to survive the hard times.
