Yesterday, many accolades were shown to Jochebed (the mother of Moses) in our teachings for how she was able to bind her children together in love as a nearest parent, not only when she was alive; even after she was long gone, her children remained loyal to one another, bore one another’s burden, and stayed united in purpose. What a successful mother!
By virtue of my profession and position as God’s servant, I have been privileged to see many children who went apart the moment their parents died because of the seed of discord sown between them by their parents, sub-consciously. Beware of favoritism and comparison among your children; be sensitive and fair in settling their disputes.
